Manning is so close, but those interceptions …

Are you kidding with these interceptions, Eli?

Giants QB Eli Manning tossed an interception with just under three minutes left in a blowout — his third of the game. Hopefully that did not keep you from winning or losing this week.

But these interceptions keep Manning from being an elite fantasy quarterback.

Manning has done a great job of making fantasy stars of WRs Hakeem Nicks and Steve Smith. And even WR Mario Manningham has some value.

But those interceptions keep Manning from making that leap. Manning had four touchdown passes and more than 300 passing yards, but he still had less than 25 points in NFL.com standard leagues. What’s worse — and I don’t know if this is my imagination — Manning seems to lead the world in potential interceptions dropped by the opposing team. It’s just crazy.
