Kolb will start, DeSean Jackson likely out

Eagles QB Kevin Kolb will start this week at Tennessee, as expected. And it’s no surprise that WR DeSean Jackson is unlikely to play this week.
Eagles coach Andy Reid told reporters after Sunday’s game that QB Michael Vick was still his guy, but later speculated that Kolb was going to be forced into starting again. Vick served as the team’s emergency quarterback against the Falcons and only would have handed the ball off if he was pressed into duty.
Kolb has a tough matchup against the Titans, and is a No. 2 quarterback at this point. Jason Avant will start opposite Jeremy Maclin if Jackson does not go. If you are in the market for a spot-start quarterback this week, Chiefs QB Matt Cassel has a favorable matchup against the Jaguars.
