Jaguars QB Garrard out vs. Titans with concussion

The Jaguars lost QB David Garrard to a concussion during the second quarter of Monday’s home game against the Titans.

Backup QB Trent Edwards, claimed off waivers from the Bills earlier this season, made his Jaguars debut and nearly led the team to a score before TE Marcedes Lewis lost a fumble. Edwards threw an interception on the Jaguars’ first drive of the second half.
