Vikings WR Rice off crutches; Favre might sit

Vikings WR Sidney Rice is off crutches, according to Jeff Zulgad (via Twitter). There is no word on when he will be able to resume football activities.

Vikings QB Brett Favre did not practice today, and admitted that he has tendinitis in his throwing elbow and would consider sitting out if the injury got worse.

Really? Now you are going to let an injury possibly derail you after you finally became a decent fantasy option. That figures. Favre still is a pretty good option this week as a low-end No. 1 quarterback. I view Favre injury news the same way I view news that the economy is on the rebound — I will believe it when I see it.
