Finley is out; time to look for other options

Well if you will all excuse me, I will go take a Lambeau Leap into a brick wall, following the news that Jermichael Finley is going to be out for the rest of the season. Finley was one of the top tight ends in fantasy, and — if you are like me — you probably scooped him up early during the dreaded tight-end run during your draft.
Many of you likely were scrambling for tight ends already — though, on a personal note, I lost my waiver claim for Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez. One of the best options available right now is Jaguars TE Marcedes Lewis, who is owned in only 40 percent of leagues, despite ranking fourth among tight ends on NFL.com. Lewis actually had more fantasy points than Finley this season.
Chiefs TE Tony Moeaki is available in close to 90 percent of leagues. Moeaki appears to be the most trustworthy pass catcher for the Chiefs, especially when you consider that WR Dwayne Bowe had offseason surgery to replace his hands with frying pans. (Or at least it seems that way.)
Lions TE Brandon Pettigrew and Browns TE Benjamin Watson are a few other names to be considered.
