Chargers RB Mathews misses practice

Here we go again. Chargers coach Norv Turner really wants to give Ryan Mathews a bigger role. But will the rookie ever get a chance to get on the field to earn it?
Mathews missed practice on Wednesday, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Mathews is clearly unreliable for fantasy owners at this point. He has averaged more than 6.0-yards per carry the last two games, but has only 18 attempts. I would keep him on the bench until he can break the double-digit mark for carries in a game, which he has not done since Week 1. You better be in a desperate position if you use Mathews right now.
