Don’t expect much value from Branch in New England

WR Deion Branch is going home to New England, and although it makes sense from a football standpoint, do not expect much in terms of fantasy value.

The truth is Branch was never much of a fantasy player anyway. Branch was a Super Bowl MVP, but he never topped 1,000 receiving yards in a season. Although he did come close in 2005, when he had 998 yards and career-high five touchdowns. So pass on Branch.

The hot name to look for from the Patriots is TE Aaron Hernandez, who should garner the attention of fantasy enthusiasts who lost Jermichael Finley.
