Felix Jones could see increased role for Cowboys

This has been a solid year for the Cowboys — a 1-3 start and whispers of them being overrated. While the casual, Cowboys-hating fan rejoices over this, fantasy enthusiasts with Felix Jones or Marion Barber on their roster continue to be baffled by the most befuddling running back situation outside of Kansas City and San Diego.
Or maybe it’s the most frustrating. This is certainly debatable.
What is not debatable is that Jones was more involved in the offense in Week 5, a good sign for those who view him as the best option because of his break-away ability. Cowboys coach Wade Phillips apparently is starting to see it the same way, saying that Jones should see an even bigger role in the coming weeks (via the Dallas Morning News).
“We need to get Felix the ball more,” Phillips said. “We did that, and I thought it showed up well. We’ll continue to evaluate what we need, but I thought it helped our running game.”
But we have heard this before. We will see if they actually plays out that way.
