Wells dominating carries for the Cardinals

Beanie Wells wasn’t very pleased with his role in the offense last week against the Chargers — he saw just five carries in a 41-10 loss.
Well, Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt must have heard those pleas for more playing time. Wells has seen 18 carries against the Saints, compared to a mere four for Tim Hightower. Unfortunately, the additional rushing attempts aren’t helping fantasy owners.
With the fourth quarter winding down, Wells has a mere 33 yards on the ground. That’s due in part to the Saints stacking the line of scrimmage to stop the run, while at the same time daring undrafted rookie quarterback Max Hall to beat them through the air.
Ironically, Hall’s presence under center has hurt Wells more than Larry Fitzgerald — the talented wideout has a solid nine catches for 93 yards in the contest.
