Addai leaves game for Colts

The Colts are locked in a tight game against the Chiefs and currently don’t have Josph Addai on the field because of a shoulder injury.

Addai left the game during the third quarter after taking a hit and being driven into the ground by Chiefs DE Glenn Dorsey. Addai was down on the field while being checked on by trainers, but was able to walk off under his own power.

NFL Network’s Lindsay Soto is on the scene in Indianapolis, and reports Addai was headed toward the locker room. Soto reports that Addai is questionable to return.

Addai’s absence leaves the Colts thin at running back. With Donald Brown inactive, Mike Hart is currently in the backfield. The only other running back active against the Chiefs is Javarris James.
