Well, it was a great run while it lasted. But Darren McFadden as fantasy starter has likely come to a close because the Raiders running back has been ruled out this week because of a hamstring injury.

McFadden had become a must-start fantasy running back posting good numbers in the opening weeks, but hamstring injuries can be burdensome. Just look at Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno who is missing his third consecutive game with a hamstring injury.

Not that all hamstring injuries are the same. But McFadden has a history of having his season derailed by injuries. In fact, having McFadden be fantasy relevant this long could be considered a surprise. Of course, there is a chance that McFadden could bounce back and start posting good numbers again. Just as there is a chance the Raiders could win the AFC West. Possible, but not probable.

RB Michael Bush will be the running back that the Raiders lean on here.
