Andre Johnson will be game-time decision

The Texans official website reports that Andre Johnson (ankle) will be a game-time decision in Week 5. Johnson was forced to miss last week’s game in Oakland due to the ailment.

On a positive note, Johnson did participate in Thursday’s practice on a limited basis. After the workout, he said that he is “planning on playing.”

If Johnson can put in some work on Friday, that could be an even better indication that he’ll be back on the field to face the Giants.

Jacoby Jones (calf) will also be a game-time decision. In a worst-case scenario where both Johnson and Jones are out, Kevin Walter would be in line to see a lot of targets.

That sort of situation would also mean a lot of Arian Foster.
