Is Blount on the verge of being fantasy relevant?

Many football enthusiasts know the name LeGarrette Blount, but not for positive reasons. Now the Buccaneers rookie running back could make a name for himself in fantasy circles — and for positive reasons.
The St. Petersburg Times is reporting that Cadillac Williams days as a featured back are over. That likely means an increased role for Blount, who figures to see work in short-yardage situations and near the goal line. Kareem Huggins also figures to get into the mix during passing situations.
So who becomes the primary back? Well, as the Buccaneers develop younger players it stands to reason it won’t be Williams. This looks like backs-by-committee situation. I would not waste a wire claim on Blount right now, but he is certainly somebody to keep an eye on.
