We might be witnessing the beginning of the Max Hall era in Arizona.
Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt pulled starting QB Derek Anderson during the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Chargers following his second interception of the game, which was returned 31 yards for a touchdown by Shaun Phillips.
Hall, an undrafted rookie out of BYU, played briefly against the Falcons in Week 2.
Anderson was 7-of-14 passing for 64 yards, and apparently Whisenhunt had seen enough. We’ll see if his decision extends beyond Week 4.
