A hit to the head has knocked Bengals rookie WR Jordan Shipley out of Sunday’s game against the Browns.
Shipley was injured early during the fourth quarter on a hit by Browns FS T.J. Ward over the middle of the field that resulted in a personal foul penalty. Shipley was down on the field for several minutes, but was able to walk off on his own.
The Bengals announced the injury as a concussion.
Shipley, who serves as the slot receiver for the Bengals, has been replaced by Andre Caldwell. Shipley had two receptions for 29 yards before leaving.
