UPDATE: Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said during his postgame news conference that Okung did not re-injure his ankle, and was held out because he was sore. Carroll said Okung could have returned.
The Seahawks are trailing the Rams in St. Louis and have lost rookie LT Russell Okung to an ankle injury.
The team announced during the second quarter that Okung was questionable to return, and he has been replaced by Tyler Polumbus.
Okung was making his debut as the starter against the Rams after a high right ankle sprain had sidelined him since the team’s second preseason game. The Associated Press is reporting that Okung re-injured the same ankle against the Rams.
