Portis forced out by groin injury

Clinton Portis is having a productive day at Lincoln Financial Field, but in the process he’s been forced to make several trips to the trainers table during a rough game against the Eagles.
The latest is that Portis is suffering from a groin injury, and his return has been announced as questionable. Portis limped off the field following the Redskins’ first play of the fourth quarter, and after some time on the trainers table then walked off the sidelines, presumably headed to the locker room.
Portis, rotating with Ryan Torain, has 11 rushes for 55 yards and two receptions for 26 yards. It might be a stretch that he’s going to return to this game. Torain was on the field for the following series.
