Rest paid off for Rams RB Steven Jackson, who is active for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks despite a strained groin. Jackson sat out practice Wednesday and Thursday, and he was limited Friday.
The Seahawks had an surprising inclusion on their inactives list. Julius Jones, the regular starter the last two games, won’t play even though he has no injury. That means second-year pro Justin Forsett will make his fourth consective start, and Leon Washington, who returned two kickoffs for touchdowns last week, might see more carries.
Also active for the Seahawks is veteran WR Brandon Stokley, who signed with the team earlier in the week after being released by the Broncos. Stokley knows Seattle’s offense from coordinator Jeremy Bates‘ days in Denver.
