UPDATE: Raiders RB Darren McFadden is now questionable to return after suffering a right hamstring injury on the Raiders’ first drive of the fourth quarter. McFadden grabbed at his right hamstring as he went out of bounds at the end of a 23-yard run. Michael Bush has been getting the snaps in place of McFadden.
A couple of injury notes to pass along from the Raiders and Texans matchup in Oakland.
Raiders QB Bruce Gradkowski left the sidelines briefly in between drives during the third quarter to head to the locker room. Gradkowski, who had taken a big hit on the right shoulder from Texans SS Bernard Pollard, returned on the next drive but his first pass attempt was intercepted by Troy Nolan.
For the Texans, WR Jacoby Jones is questionable to return with a left leg injury. With Andre Johnson deactivated due to an ankle injury, Jones’ injury leaves the Texans thin at receiver. The Texans are using Kevin Walter and David Anderson and mostly avoiding three-receiver sets in favor of tight ends Owen Daniels and Joel Dreessen.
