Steven Jackson misses another practice

Steven Jackson missed practice again Thursday, the latest sign regarding his chances of playing Sunday against the Seahawks.

Jackson, who suffered a strained groin last week against the Redskins, is “hopeful” to participate in his first practice of the week Friday, per a tweet from the team. Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo has listed Jackson, quite accurately, as “day to day.”

Without Jackson, it’s likely backup Kenneth Darby will receive most of the work. The other options are Keith Toston, who has practiced while dealing with a shoulder injury, and Chauncey Washington, who was signed off the Jets’ practice squad Tuesday.
