Owners should have Mathews back in Week 4

Ryan Mathews, who missed last week’s game against the Seahawks with a bum ankle, should be back in action in Week 4. The San Diego Union-Tribune reports that he’s returned to practice and is now pain free.
Barring a setback, Mathews figures to be a stud for fantasy leaguers against the Cardinals. Their defense has been dreadful against the run, allowing opposing backs to post an average of 23.0 fantasy points per game.
This should also be the start of a hot streak for the Fresno State product, as he’ll face teams with questionable defenses like the aforementioned Cardinals, Raiders, Rams, Patriots and Texans over the next six weeks.
I’d be buying low on Mathews right now.
