Andre Johnson is without question the top wide receiver in fantasy football, but he might not produce like it in Week 4.
According to the Texans official website, Johnson missed Thursday’s practice with a sore ankle. Coach Gary Kubiak did say that he ran a little, but that was the extent of his work.
If he misses practice on Friday, Johnson’s status will be in major question.
At best, he’ll a game-time decision to face the Raiders. Obviously, A.J. is a must-start player if he can go despite the ailment, but a decrease in stats wouldn’t be a shock.
After all, he’s clearly not 100 percent. Johnson will also have to face off against CB Nnamdi Asomugha. In the event that Johnson isn’t active, look for Jacoby Jones to emerge as a nice No. 3 fantasy wideout.
