Even if active, Rice is a gamble this week

The Ravens official website is reporting that Ray Rice (knee) practiced on Thursday with a red non-contact jersey. At this point, it looks like he’ll start against the Steelers.

If he is in fact active, Rice will be hard to bench in fantasy leagues. However, I think he has bust written all over him.

The Steelers and their ferocious defense has already reduced Michael Turner and Chris Johnson to mere mortals this season. In fact, they’ve allowed an average of just 8.3 fantasy points per game to opposing running backs.

Rice could very well be in for a long afternoon at Heinz Field.
