McGahee says Rice will play on Sunday

Ravens RB Ray Rice did not practice on Wednesday, which raises the concern level of fantasy enthusiasts everywhere. Rice has an extensive bruise on his knee, but did walk around the locker room without a limp.
RB Willis McGahee would be the team’s starter if Rice were to miss Sunday’s game at Pittsburgh, but he told reporters that he believes that Rice will play — as he is content with just stealing touchdowns from the young man.
“Ray’s a competitor, so I doubt he’s going to sit this game out. That’s the kind of person that he is,” McGahee said. “I don’t know what’s going on with him, but as far as I know, he was in the meetings with us. So why wouldn’t he (play)?”
That’s true. But worst case scenario is the guy tries to gut out the start, participates in four plays, and then calls it a day, leaving your fantasy squad with — as Norman Chad would say — squadoosh. But you likely invested the third- or fourth-overall pick on Rice, so you are pretty much required by Congress to play him. Should be a fun week for you guys.
