The 49ers have fired OC Jimmy Raye. So what’s next?

NFL Network’s Brian Billick and Jim Mora discussed the move on Monday, and whether the in-season change to Mike Johnson will make a tangible difference for the 49ers.

“When you look at it, Mike Johnson has been in the room all this time, formulating the game plans,” Billick said. ”Can that really make a difference? It’s not like you’re totally going to revamp the offense. His approach and the way he communicates with the players – it’s as much as that as anything. But there’s a lot riding on the line. If it doesn’t make a dramatic change … what’s next?”
