For those who miss Fred Taylor’s groin

Ask any fantasy enthusiast about RB Fred Taylor , and at some point, the topic of conversation will turn to the running back’s groin. As weird as that seems, nearly everybody has a story about Taylor’s groin, dating to 2001.
Only the most daring picked Taylor during fantasy drafts from 2002 to 2007. And really, the only reason the catcalls have stopped now is because nobody drafts Taylor anyway. But now it appears that Rams RB Steven Jackson is willing to fill that void.
Jackson is suffering from a groin strain, adding to a list of ailments that have included a knee problem and back surgery this year. Jackson went out of his way last season to battle perceptions that he is injured a lot by starting 15 games.
But you have to wonder if Jackson will ever reach his 2006 levels. That problem is further compounded by a lack of talent in St. Louis.
