Best’s toe injury not severe, day-to-day

NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora is reporting that Lions RB Jahvid Best‘s toe injury is not severe and the Lions rookie is day-to-day, according to his league sources.
Best was held without a touchdown for the first time in his NFL career on Sunday, after cashing in four times in his first two games. Certainly, though, he has become the darling of the rookie class of running backs. Which leads one to ask: Why do the fantasy gods have to hate on the Lions?
First QB Matthew Stafford gets hurt in the first quarter of the first game. And now Best? Hasn’t Detroit suffered enough?
The Lions will play at Green Bay next week, so keep an eye on Best going forward.
