Lions lose Best to toe injury

The Lions are thinking comeback during the fourth quarter in Minneapolis, but it will have to come without rookie RB Jahvid Best.

Best left the game with a toe injury during the third quarter and was announced as questionable to return.

The Lions have turned to Maurice Morris as the main option in place of Best, who had seven rushes for 26 yards and two receptions for 13 yards before leaving the game.

Starting RG Stephen Peterman is also out of the game, replaced by Wayne Gandy.
