Hey, Wallace is in the NFL

Welcome to the 2010 season, Mike Wallace. The lanky receiver, who was one of the top sleepers on NFL.com prior to the season, finally reward fantasy enthusiasts with a pair of first-half touchdowns.

Well, if you started him. Wallace was one of those, do you or don’t you, starters headed into Week 3 against the Buccaneers. So if you started Wallace, great. Your patience is rewarded.

But if you have a quick hook on your roster, pulling players like Gary Kubiak pulls fumbling running backs, this might be an agonizing day. Just ask Dave Dameshek who benched Wallace this week.

Oh well, at least Dameshek has the caveat of rooting for the Steelers, which gives him a chance to somewhat enjoy Wallace’s coming out party. But even then, he is a fantasy enthusiast at heart.
