49ers play the full 60 minutes

Mike Singletary is struggling as an NFL head coach. But clearly a friend of a fantasy enthusiast.
Singletary called timeout with three seconds remaining in a blowout loss to the Chiefs so that QB Alex Smith could attempt a garbage-time touchdown pass. While the play might have ruined WR Josh Morgan‘s season (they were looking at him after the game), it was a nice nod to the fantasy player who appreciate throw-away touchdowns more than anybody.
Seriously, as the 49ers fans filed out of the sports bars, heads held in shame, people playing Vernon Davis and Michael Crabtree stayed true to their team up until the final play. That is all that we ask of these coaches. Play the full 60 minutes. Sure in this instance, it was wasted on Morgan. But we like the spirit.
