Stunner: Moreno out for Week 3

The Denver Post is reporting that Knowshon Moreno will miss this week’s game against the Colts. He suffered an undisclosed ailment during Friday’s practice.

Coach coach Josh McDaniels said Laurence Maroney, Correll Buckhalter and Andre Brown would be his top running backs in Moreno’s absence, but a starter was not announced.

Maroney is likely the most attractive replacement from a fantasy perspective, but Buckhalter will see some of the workload as well. This is obviously a major blow for fantasy owners who have Moreno, as this week’s matchup against the Colts was very favorable.
