Who should start at quarterback for the Eagles has been the hot topic around the NFL Network over the last week, and what many had believed was the best choice came to fruition Tuesday when Andy Reid designated Michael Vick his starter.

Now time for some reaction.

“You can’t deny the tape,” Michael Lombardi said. ”The one thing all NFL players do is watch the game, and Michael Vick was sensational. He performed, and it couldn’t be denied. Even Andy Reid couldn’t deny it.”

Added Charles Davis: “I think this is another example of the old adage that the team truly picks the starting quarterback. How they respond, how they play with that person in the huddle … and it was obvious Michael Vick had that team playing at a high level.”
