Turner not concerned about Mathews’ fumbles

Chargers coach Norv Turner told reporters on Monday that he was not concerned about the fumbles of Ryan Mathews (via the team’s official site). Turner did say that he told Mathews that he should not consider himself down until he hands the ball over the to referee.

Yeah, did he not see that Calvin Johnson play in Week 1? The play is not over until you are at home watching Dexter after the game.

Turner also reiterated that Mathews was just sore after his injury and probably could have played had he needed to.
