Sanders: Vick should start for Eagles

The Eagles’ quarterback controversy isn’t going away, so we’re not going to stop talking about it. As Michael Irvin says, “You can say it’s not a quarterback controversy, but just because you say it, doesn’t mean it’s a┬áreality.”

Following Michael Vick’s impressive performance in Week 2, Irvin discussed the situation (in the video above) with Deion Sanders, who believes Vick should be the starter in Philadelphia over Kevin Kolb.

“Vick should be the starter, but Andy Reid has loyalty to Kolb, and I don’t know where that comes from,” Sanders said. “He’s going to be loyal. But Vick has won that locker room, he’s won those fans, and he’s won the opportunity and he should be starting [this] week.”
