Cable won’t divulge who his starting QB will be

Raiders coach Tom Cable would not select his starting quarterback for Sunday. And why would he? Todd Haley will not put in his best running back. Norv Turner likes to take out Ryan Mathews near the goal line. Why should Cable make life easier for the fantasy enthusiasts and select his starting quarterback?
Did Jason Campbell bomb during six quarters of football? He did.
Did Bruce Gradkowski rally his team and look much sharper at quarterback? Of course he did.
So will Cable make the right decision to start Gradkowski? Eh.
Now normally you would not care about starting a Raiders quarterback. Or any Raiders player, for that matter. But with a looming matchup against the Cardinals, Gradkowski is somebody I would consider starting over Brett Favre. Not to say it would happen, because Favre is facing the Lions this week, but there is enough quarterback shuffling going on to where Gradkowski could be a spot starter down the road.
