Turner’s OK, but Week 2 is lost

Jason La Canfora is reporting that Michael Turner’s groin injury wasn’t serious, but he was kept out of most of today’s game against the Cardinals because it was a blowout.

While this is good news for the long term, fantasy owners who started Turner today still have a sour taste in their mouths. The Burner was on his way to a monster game, rushing for 75 yards on nine carries before suffering the ailment.

In his absence, Jason Snelling has 176 scrimmage yards and two touchdown. A lot of those fantasy points would have went to Turner.

Considering that I have Turner in one of my leagues, I’m feeling your pain…
