UPDATE: The Jets announced during the third quarter that Revis is out for the remainder of the game. Drew Coleman has replaced Revis.
Darrelle Revis was beat by a fantastic one-handed touchdown catch by Randy Moss, and might have aggravated an injury to boot.
Revis left the sidelines early during the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Patriots and, according to multiple reports, is dealing with a hamstring injury. Revis was limited during practice this week due to tightness in his left hamstring.
Revis appeared to pull up in the end zone as Moss was hauling in a 34-yard touchdown pass from Tom Brady, and immediately clutched at his left hamstring. Soon after, he was spotted walking off the sideline with a team trainer.
Connecting the dots, it appears the hamstring that was bothering Revis during the week is also an issue on Sunday.
Revis was not on the field to start the second half.
