Raiders QB Campbell benched

Well this is embarrassing.

Just three halves into his career with the team, coach Tom Cable benched Jason Campbell in favor of Bruce Gradkowski with the Raiders trailing 7-3 going into the third quarter. Campbell was 8 of 15 passes for 87 yards and an interception with 29 seconds left in the first half.

Gradkowski proceeded to take the offense down the field twice — one for a 41-yard chip shot by Sebastian Janikowski and another for a 4-yard touchdown to wide receiver Louis Murphy, giving the Raiders a 13-7 lead.
