Falcons’ Turner sidelined by groin injury

Michael Turner is the latest member of the Falcons battling an injury in Week 2. Turner left the game against the Cardinals during the second quarter with a groin injury, and the team announced he’s questionable to return.

With Jerious Norwood already out due to a knee injury, Jason Snelling got the bulk of the work at the end of the first half. Snelling had 10 rushes for 57 yards and a touchdown in the first half, as well as three receptions for 36 yards and another score.

The Falcons have also announced that CB Christopher Owens will not return to the game due to a back injury. He left the game during the second quarter.
