Steelers QB Dennis Dixon was carted off the sideline during the second quarter of Sunday’s game at LP Field with an apparent left knee injury.
Dixon was replaced by Charlie Batch on the Steelers’ fourth series and was last seen on the back of a cart heading into the stadium, flexing his left leg. According to the CBS game broadcast, Dixon will have X-rays on his left knee.
Officially, he’s questionable to return.
The Steelers have just two signal-callers active Sunday against the Titans, with WR Antwaan Randle El serving as the emergency No. 3 quarterback.
