Collins replaces Young as Titans’ QB vs. Steelers

With his Titans trailing the Steelers 16-3 with one quarter to play, coach Jeff Fisher gave QB Vince Young the hook in favor of veteran Kerry Collins.
Young doesn’t appear to be injured, so the move to Collins looks to be an attempt to spark the offense against the Steelers. Young had a part in three turnovers before leaving, throwing two interceptions and losing one fumble. Young was 6-of-10 passing for 66 yards.
The move, at least initially, backfired on Fisher. On his first drive, Collins completed 1 of 3 passes, wasn’t able to handle a snap in the shotgun, then had his next throw intercepted by Bryant McFadden.
That’s the sixth turnover for the Titans in a very forgetable offensive performance.
