Anxiety Friday: Nicks expects to play on Sunday

Sweating out a Sunday injury report is bad enough. Sweating out a guy who is playing on Sunday night (or obviously Monday) is just the worst. And that is where we stand with Giants WR Hakeem Nicks who looked like a breakout star in Week 1.

Nicks is officially questionable on Sunday, though he said that he expects to play on Sunday (via the Star-Ledger). But still, do you bench one of your guys in an early game and hope that Nicks is going to be available come 5 p.m. on Sunday?

Hopefully you have a guy on your bench who is either playing Sunday or Monday night. Maybe you pick up Colts WR Austin Collie if you have room on your team. Nicks has become a must-play in all formats, and you have to play him. Just don’t be caught with you pants down if there he is unable to go on Sunday night.
