Jackson will be on fantasy radar after suspension

Vincent Jackson, considered one of the best wide receivers in fantasy football before being suspended by the NFL, received some good news on Thursday.
Well, sort of.
If the Chargers decide to trade their disgruntled wide receiver, he’ll be able to play for his new team by its fifth game, the NFL announced. Our Jason La Canfora added that if he is not traded by Sept, 22, however, Jackson will be forced to miss the full six games based on being placed on the roster exempt list.
At the very least, fantasy owners should have some closure with this situation by the middle of next week. The Chargers will no doubt look to deal Jackson, who appears destined to be wearing a new uniform in the very near future. The Vikings, Seahawks and Redskins look like the most legitimate suitors.
A move to the Vikings would be great from a fantasy perspective, unless of course you have Sidney Rice stashed on your bench. Jackson would immediately become the team’s No. 1 wideout and a popular target for Brett Favre in the pass attack.
Regardless, Jackson is well worth keeping on your roster until this situation comes to and end. He’s currently owned in 78.1 percent of NFL.com leagues.
