QB Hill to start for Lions, not your fantasy team

There is a burning desire to make Lions QB Shaun Hill a sleeper pick this week — maybe even a bold prediction — after he was selected as the starter vs. the Eagles. But I just do not have the fortitude to make such a pick.

Honestly, there is a bigger burning desire to not get singed by the Lions again.

Hill is probably not given enough credit for how good he is, but he has not done enough to warrant a fantasy start. ¬†And that does not even factor in the Lions’ brutal upcoming schedule, with the Vikings and Packers. But does he seem like a worse start than, say, Jason Campbell? Or Mark Sanchez, who might be the worst fantasy quarterback of all-time? Not that any of us are that desperate right now.

But I will keep my eye on Hill right now, especially with a Week 5 date against St. Louis.

And if he does well, you can all come back here and make fun of me for not following through on starting him. So you have that.
