Giants RB Bradshaw poised for monster game

There are a few things that signal the beginning of a new NFL season. Brett Favre throwing his first interception. Randy Moss lashing out at somebody. And Bob Sanders being injured.

Now that all three have hit already, it’s officially an NFL season.

Sanders had surgery and is out indefinitely, meaning his will miss Sunday’s game against the Giants. At least. But why is this important to the fantasy enthusiast who does not play in an IDP league?

Well, this means that Ahmad Bradshaw is primed for a huge game. The Colts are not good at stopping the run. Ask anybody who was on the winning or losing end of Arian Foster‘s huge game against the Colts in Week 1.

Now, it is difficult to predict 200 rushing yards and three touchdowns for Bradshaw. But I can imagine Giants offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride exuding a sinister laugh and stroking his mustache after watching film of the Colts flailing and missing at Foster last week. Maybe he is even holding a cat in the other hand, I don’t know.

Expect the Giants game plan to feature Bradshaw prominently. Which is awesome because I have to move Hakeem Nicks into my lineup this week.
