Maroney a handcuff for Moreno

Laurence Maroney appeared to have no future in New England, and the Patriots made it official on Tuesday by dealing him to the Broncos.

Knowshon Moreno fantasy owners might feel a twinge of anxiety, but not to worry. If you went ahead and picked Moreno despite his injury history, there is no reason to be concerned now. If you have already taken that leap of faith on him, you are airborne. But Maroney becomes a pretty good handcuff for Moreno right now. If Moreno’s hamstring gives him fits, Maroney figures to jump into the mix.
