Adalius Thomas still on Jets’ radar

The Jets have had a longstanding interest in free agent Adalius Thomas, and coach Rex Ryan has said adding the veteran linebacker to help replace the injured Calvin Pace was a possibility.

It looks as though Thomas is still on the Jets’ radar. According to The Star Ledger, Thomas visited the Jets on Tuesday.

The key to a deal for Thomas is the timing. By signing him after Week 1, the Jets (or any other team) aren’t required to guarantee the full salary of a veteran for the season.
