Texans lose DE Barwin to apparent knee injury

Texans DE Connor Barwin was carted off the field after a nasty collision with a teammate during the first quarter of Sunday’s season opener against the Colts.

It appeared that Barwin injured a knee, but his status wasn’t immediately known.

Barwin had 4.5 sacks last season, his first in the NFL after a college career at Cincinnati.
