Packers’ Grant heads to locker room with ankle injury

The injuries are coming fast and furious in the second quarter of the Eagles-Packers game. In order:

  • Eagles FB Leonard Weaver will not return, the Eagles announced, after spraining his left knee in the second quarter. Another player rolled up on his leg following a run for no gain.
  • Eagles QB Kevin Kolb went down hard on the Eagles’ following drive, tacking a sack from Packers LB Clay Matthews. Kolb fumbled the ball out of bounds and was slow to get up. He was later seen on the sideline with trainers examining his jaw. The Eagles announced that Kolb will return.
  • Packers RB Ryan Grant was seen hopping into the locker room with his right shoe off. Trainers were looking at his right ankle after he was injured on an 18-yard run up the middle.
  • Eagles C Jamaal Jackson is also out with an undisclosed injury. He has been replaced by Mike McGlynn.
