Giants CB Ross can’t go vs. Panthers

Aaron Ross went from doubtful to out after the Giants listed the cornerback as inactive for Sunday’s season opener against the Panthers. Ross was limited in practice because of a foot injury.

Also inactive for the Giants: LB Phillip Dillard, LB Gerris Wilkinson, G Mitch Petrus, DE Dave Tollefson, WR Victor Cruz, WR Duke Calhoun, DT Linval Joseph.

Inactive for the Panthers: Tony Pike (No. 3 QB), WR Armanti Edwards, WR David Gettis, RB Tyrell Sutton, LB Jordan Senn, DT Andre Neblett, OT Jeff Otah, DT Nick Hayden
